A highly effective insecticide as foliar uses especially for the broad spectrum control of caterpillar, thrips, spider mites and diamondback moth (DBM) in roses, French beans, runner beans, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, capsicum, onion and tomato.

DESCRIPTION:

Emamectin benzoate 19 g/L EC is a highly effective Insecticide / miticide for control of Diamond back moth on cabbages; thrips, spider mites and caterpillars on French beans, and Roses, thrips on tomatoes, capsicum and onions.

MODE OF ACTION:

It acts by interfering with neurotransmitters of target pests, which results in disruption of nerve impulses.

APPLICATION RATES:

RE-HARVEST INTERVAL:

Maize, french beans, capsicum, onions and tomtoes: 7 days;

Cabbage: 14 days; 

APPLICATION METHOD: Apply by foliar spraying using 1000 litres of water per hectare.

APPLICATION TIMING: Apply at the first signs of insect infestation and repeat every 7-10 days.

PREPARATION OF SPRAY MIXTURE: Fill spray tank with half the amount of required water. Add required amount of Emamectin benzoate 19 g/L EC and fill the water to the required level. Agitate to ensure thorough mixing.

RE-ENTRY PERIOD: Do not enter treated areas 12 hrs after application until the spray has dried unless wearing cotton overals buttoned to the neck and all other protective gears, which must be washed after every use.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: Avoid contact with skin and eyes. When using, do not eat, drink or smoke. Wear overalls, safety glasses and impervious gloves. Wash contaminated clothing and other protective equipment before storage or reuse. Wash hands after use.
